This autumn, our Partner Management Team started a wonderful tradition – personal meetings for the entire team. In October, we finally met in Barcelona, a city where sunshine, laughter, and good food create the perfect atmosphere for new ideas and genuine cohesion.
It all began with dinner at a cozy restaurant. Instead of talking about work, we engaged in warm conversations, shared jokes, and told stories from our personal lives. We shared things rarely discussed during daily work on Teams – what we love, how we spend our time, and how our careers have changed over the past year. With each story, we grew closer.
The next day, we walked through Barcelona together – from the Gothic Quarter to the sea. But the highlight was yet to come: a cooking class where we learned to prepare authentic Spanish paella! Our charismatic chef transformed the kitchen into a stage – and us into a well-coordinated team of cooks. There was much laughter, sniffing, and, of course, tasting.
These days were special. We saw each other not through screens, but in person – with all our smiles, our energy, and our unique stories.
We are already planning our next meeting and choosing a new city, because we are sure: This was just the beginning of a great tradition. And even if it still seems unrealistic for us all to work together on-site – we now know: Never say never.
Barcelona left us not only with beautiful photos but with something far more valuable: an even stronger team where everyone is part of the shared Expert-Minds story.
